Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops have become more adept, passing our tests for cleaning and taking on various floor types. Select models that allow you to select between a variety of modes, self-empty and clean stairs.
A lot of the top models work with your smartphone. Find an app that allows you to save maps, schedules and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. It uses lidar for navigation, creating maps of floors and rooms.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which includes linoleum flooring in the kitchen, dining area and bathrooms, as well as medium-pile and a large rug. best inexpensive robot vacuum was able to drive close to walls and even cross raised thresholds without issue. However it was a bit difficult navigating down the stairs in one go. The S1 also did a great job of cleaning hard floors by dragging its mop smoothly on the flat side against the floor, and then lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or rugs.
The docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and replenishes its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated water before every mopping session. The dock adds a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1's water tank can hold enough water for about a dozen cleaning sessions before it needs to be cleaned, although this will vary depending on how much you use the mop.
The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. In order to do this, you'll have to rinse out the dirty water tank occasionally to avoid it from clogging. It is also necessary to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to avoid them getting clogged up with dirt or dust. Overall the S1 is easy to maintain, especially when compared to other combos that require more care.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robotic mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a powerful option for cleaning requirements. The robot vacuum has 8700Pa suction power, and comes with a number innovative features including voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and eliminates obstacles. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive, with mops that rotate that actually lift and scrub the floor, rather than simply dragging the pad across it. The mops can be cleaned and dried at the base station if required.

best budget robot vacuum cleaner is simple to set up and use, with a simple interface that guides you through the procedure. It includes an electric hand vacuum that can be recharged for those areas that the robot isn't able to reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and replenished when needed. It also has a number of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a good vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction which can easily remove dirt and other debris that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are quite good, though it can get stuck on small area mats and rugs around my home (which you can mitigate by creating virtual boundaries in the app). The mopping feature is pretty excellent, too, with a pair of spin mop heads that actually lift and scrub the floors, as opposed to simply dragging the pad over it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water, and dried in the base station as needed. The mops are also refilled at the top of the station when they are required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new flagship robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It is a great cleaner, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a contender for our top list of mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush ensure an effective, customized cleaning is achieved.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing fine and large debris from hard floors as well as carpets. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests efficiently while avoiding pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping performance of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that automatically swings out in order to get into areas that are difficult to reach and mop pads that extend along baseboards.
Its navigation is nimble, navigating tight spaces and negotiating stairs without missing a beat. It can go from one room to another without having to reverse direction. This is beneficial for homes that have multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance technology isn't as advanced than other models, however, and tends to leave a thick margin over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.
The app's interface is intuitive and streamlined. It should be easy to use for both novices and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleaning tasks. You can also adjust the suction power, mop settings as well as view 2D and 3-D maps. You can control it via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for live video surveillance. However, you will need a stable Wi-Fi connection to operate it through the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
A robot vacuum can do a fantastic job of removing dirt and debris but it's not always able to be able to reach every bit of dust. This is why it's crucial to use your regular vacuum at least once every week, particularly to remove dust from corners and on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums as well as mop, is designed to accomplish this. It is easy to connect to your WiFI network at home and it works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, such as the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but cuts down on cost by eliminating mopping functions and using a less expensive plastic body.
Despite losing the ability to wipe your floors, the Q5 offers the best vacuum and mopping performance we've seen from a robotic at this price. It has powerful 5500Pa suction and an auto-empty system which means you don't need to manually empty the bin every time. It also has a clever app that lets you select the type of floor and schedule cleanings, as well as an automatic refill of the water tank and wash system that allows hands-free operation.
Its mops also impress, with a 2700Pa power that can combat pet hair and dirt on carpets as well as hard floors. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't have any problems with carpets with high piles or area rug, but it was unable to remove cables or kitty litter, which is no surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we've tested. It also has a unique method to map your home. This allows it to get into places that other vacuums can't reach. The device also stores dust in a larger bin that means you have to empty it less often. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters that further lower the cost of using the device. The robot can recognize carpets, and boost suction if necessary. You can also mark areas you want the robot to avoid using the app.
